Created in 2008, the Better Oral Health for Massachusetts Coalition (’Coalition’) is a broad-based statewide collaborative of programs, providers (dentists, dental hygienists, physicians and other health providers), lawmakers, state oral health officials, insurers, health advocates, policy leaders and consumers in communities from Cape Cod to the Berkshires. The Coalition has one full-time staff and a facilitator sponsored by the Oral Health Foundation and is led by a Design Advisory Committee whose membership mirrors the diversity of the Coalition.
The Better Oral Health for Massachusetts Coalition aims to improve oral health for all residents of the Commonwealth.
With a focus on improving access to care for all, reducing disparities and promoting equity in Massachusetts’ oral health, the Coalition will work to:
